When: Auditions will be held Saturday, March 1st 4:00-9:00. CLICK BELOW TO SIGN UP FOR A TIME
Where: The Community House (415 W. 8th Street, Hinsdale)
Who: Open to those High School and Up (8th Graders that are also doing FINDING NEMO may audition).
Video Auditions will be accepted for those that aren’t available on the audition day. Please email us at info@stagedoorfinearts.com before signing up for a video slot.
What to Prepare:.
Sing a 60-90 second cutting of a contemporary musical theatre or Pop song of your choice in the style of the show. You must have an accompaniment track with no vocals that you will bring with you to the auditions. No A Capella Singing will be allowed!
A dance audition will be taught at auditions.
We may have callbacks on Sunday, March 2nd if needed from 1:00-9:00. Those called back will sing more from the show, possibly dance and do readings.
Productions Details
ALICE BY HEART Will be a no-cut show. Everyone that auditions will be part of the cast.
Rehearsals will be Sundays from 1:00-7:00 and Saturdays 11:00-5:00. (Saturday rehearsals begin in April.)
First Rehearsal is Sunday, March 9th.
Tech Rehearsal will begin daily June 9th.
Performance will be June 12-15 (Exact days and times TBD)
Tuition will be $500 plus any additional costume fees.
